Get your nature fix without all the work. You’ll stay in a comfortable cabin, we’ll provide delicious food, and you’ll be free to create your own schedule. Choose from adventures like hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, rock climbing, yoga, meditation, bicycling, ziplining, ropes course, and even a giant swing*. You could even relax with a good book in one of our many hammocks. Do it all or nothing at all, it’s up to you. Go at your pace. You’ll have 3-days of fun, laughter, food, naps, and feeling like yourself again. Bring your friends or come alone, everyone is part of the tribe when you’re here.

Here's your chance to experience a pure and simple outdoor adventure. Learn the basics of how to pack your pack, navigation, proper water filtration, and more. We take the guesswork out of food prep by providing a healthy and tasty meal/snack kit for the trip. Need gear? No problem, we have that too.
Capacity: 15 women | 5:1 Women to guide ratio
HOW IT WORKS:
- Register for this retreat and choose the backpacking option for an additional $99 fee. Be sure to indicate if you will rent gear or bring your own.
- Arrive a day early to the retreat, Wednesday 5/5 by 12:00 pm
- We’ll do a gear check, teach you how to pack your pack, supply you with your food kit, and then we’re off to nearby Twin Lakes for our overnight adventure.
- We’ll return to Tall Timber Ranch by noon on Thursday, just in time to settle into your cabin, take a shower, and find a hammock for a nice nap before the retreat kick-off.
Wilderness skills clinics including how to pack your pack, basic navigation, what to do when you see wildlife, how to leave no trace, and how to find the best water sources in the backcountry.
Food Kit: snacks, energy bars (good ones), dinner, and breakfast.

On the borders of the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area, lush mountain meadows, massive cedars, and glacial rivers give way to towering snow-capped peaks. The winds here are crisp, and the scent of conifers hangs in the air. Time slows down into an ancient and comfortable rhythm. Here you will find adventure and refuge. With dozens of hiking trails that lead to 360-degree views, alpine lakes, and waterfalls, Tall Timber Ranch offers the best of the Northwest.

You may check-in on Thursday between 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. You'll get settled, go on an orientation hike, and jump right into the adventure.
Check-out is on Saturday by 3:00 p.m.
